Exactly 30 children are at the Paynter Home from 12th April 2020, since the sudden closure of schools, to curtail the spread of COVID 19 Virus in Sri Lanka. Of the total 41 children, 30 children remained. Two of the Matrons and our cook Mary who lives close to the paynter Home.
The Admin staff are able to come only on days that the curfew was relaxed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. During that time we plan matters that need to be accomplished before The Curfew is reinforced. Purchases, Issues, communication, cleaning up etc., etc… At other Times, the senior children were entrusted with certain responsibilities along with the Matrons And the place functions smoothly.
