PAYNTER PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN'S CONCERT AND CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Our little Niluka came of age (Puberty) on 26th May 2020. She is only 10 years old.

We were blessed with a new calf in the Paynter Farm on 31st May 2020

I was really thrilled watching the boys play, with one of the self-made Toy as in the good old days.

These types of volunteer service was very beneficial to the Paynter Home. We had been cooking vegetable and leafy items from in and around the Paynter Home and the Paynter Farm.

We have had curfew 4 days last week and were able to come to work. This week, we have had only 3 days of work. Today is the last day. Then We are shutdown for the next 5 days.

Exactly 30 children are at the Paynter Home from 12th April 2020, since the sudden closure of schools, to curtail the spread of COVID 19 Virus in Sri Lanka. Of the total 41 children, 30 children remained. Two of the Matrons and our cook Mary who lives

The Chief of the Air Force encampment on Mountain Pedru visited the Paynter Home last week. Mount Pedru is the highest mountain range in Sri Lanka and our rear boundary is the starting point of this mountain.

Nilantha Advanced level student performed very well at the Local, Provincial and all Island athletic meets. He was placed first in thousand five and five thousand at local competition ,and 7th in the marathon event at the provincial competition and 8th in the five thousand event at all island competition .In the group photo Nilantha’s number is 111.

Pavishan and kavithanjali placed first and third respectively in the dancing competition and painter home was placed overall champions in dancing of the central province. It was also mentioned that the Paynter home for children is one of the well managed children’s home in the island nation.
